Hello blogging world. I am Ellasha and thank you for visiting my little space here on the internet. I am not totally new to blogging but am new to lifestyle blogging. I also run a dog training blog http://www.hausofboxers.com. I own my own dog training company and I blog about my adventures there a well. I will dabble little bit in this blog talking about my own dogs.

I graduated in December 2007 with Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Louisville (GO CARDS!!). After graduation I applied and was accepted in Louisville Metro Police Department’s Police Academy in February 2009 I graduated from the academy and became a sworn Law Enforcement Officer. Also in 2009, I married Daniel. So getting settled into my career as a police officer and married life was a little stressful in itself. Then I got my first boxer the summer of 2009. We had been on waiting list for 6 months to get a puppy from this breeder. But finally we brought Laila home: . 2010 we brought home our second boxer and my first competition dog Mr. Presco: In 2011 we got our 3rd Boxer Heidi .

Also in August 2011 I was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease(Lupus, Sclroderma, Polymyositis). It means I have several autoimmune diseases wreaking havoc on my body. Autoimmune pretty much means that your body hates itself. For example when you get a cold you have antibodies that fight the cold. Well my antibodies fight the cold and healthy cells as well. It can’t tell the difference between the good and bad cells.

In 2015, I got Capone imported from Serbia. and in 2016 we added our newest member to the pack Ms. Tia So as of May 2020 we have 4 boxers. Presco, Heidi, Capone, & Tia. We are very happy with that number and are not looking for anymore dogs to add to the family. Heidi and Presco are 9 and 10 and are retired. Capone and Tia train and compete in IGP and AKC Obedience and Rally.

In 2017, I left the police department for good and filed for disability. Lupus and Disability will be one of the many topics I discuss in this blog. This blog will be an organized hodge podge of subjects that kind of tie into each other concerning my life. I hope that with me writing about them in my life others gain the courage to talk about them in theirs and maybe understand Lupus an autoimmune diseases a bit better. This will not be a debbie-downer blog we will have fun and learn about different things such as product review, movie reviews, Lupus, Dog training, current events and life in general.
